artfuldivision is the combined efforts of three firm friends and fellow DJs: Jon Samwell & Will Brooks (collectively known as Jon Brooks) and Tom Fallon (Cecil). Together they represent a new breed of up-and-coming artists who want to compose and release music on their own terms.
With a sound deeply rooted in House, inspired and influenced by the sounds of Detroit, Chicago, New Jersey and UK Gara
ge and the new wave of sounds coming from Europe, artfuldivision provides a platform for them to extend their creative vision and to share it with like-minded individuals, pushing the known and unknown.
They’ve played numerous sets in Leicester, Nottingham, London and Ibiza alongside DJs such as Dinky and Dyed Soundroom. DJing together at their monthly night in Leicester, Plus Two, the boys have regularly undertaken six-hour sets that have given them a solid understanding of what works and what doesn't and a hunger to stamp their own imprint on a sound they are so passionate about.
