Meet Francesco Belfiore and Alessandro Tordi: friends and lovers of all things deep, dark and dubby. Francesco “Belfie” found house in 2004. After five years freewheeling through its echelons the young Italian released his first record in 2009 with partner Marco Toce as Belfie & Toche. Together they produced a number of follow up EPs and remixes on labels like Saf series and OFF Recordings, but in 2011 the pair parted ways. It was time for Francesco to strike out alone, to embark upon his own musical crusade, to bring his vision to the chosen and to try and Save The Blessed.
With loose ties in Rome’s underground nightlife—where Alessandro is a promoter and Francesco resident DJ, Save The Blessed is a new vinyl-only venture aimed at preserving and perpetuating analogue craftsmanship in tactile form, delivered in limited runs with the dancefloor forever fully in sight. This is sanctified sound for the nocturnal worshippers of every electronic faction. Come, let us sway and bask as one.
