About

  • Convert recordings was launched in 2000 by electronic artist & production outfit "Blue Amazon". The idea behind the label was to create a platform to promote and release quality club music from artists and friends within the UK and across the globe. The label mainly specializes in the areas of Progressive / European house, Techno and Breaks although diverse in some of the signings / remix projects. We took the attitude that good music would be appreciated without it being too categorized. The long term inspiration and objective of the label is to create an imprint like the legendary "Warp and R&S Records (Belgium)". This objective involves releasing consistent quality music, aiding the progression of some undiscovered talents and being experimental at times. Existing projects have included remixes of the club classic by "Sam Mollison" Will you Love me In The Morning. A track originally released in the early nineties and set in stone as a Renaissance anthem after being championed by John Digweed. Remix projects from Progressive House and Break Beat favorites include "Meat Katie & Force Mass Motion". Imported talents from South America such as "Tom Sawyer" and releases from Berlin's "Namito , Kama Arts and DJ Emerson". Releasing and aiding the progression of Hungaries international DJ "Corvin Dalek". Remix projects / releases from "Blue Amazon" and amongst others promoting the rising production qualities of Irelands "Mal Black". Throughout a period of releases support and attention has been received from the likes of " Timo Mass, Pete Tong (Radio 1), Paul Oakenfold, John Peel, Seb Fontaine (Radio 1), Fergie (Radio 1), Carl Cox, Lee Buridge, Andry Nalin, Andy Morris (Kiss FM) ,Mark Moore, Paul Van Dyk, Danny Howell's, John Digweed, Mixmag, Ministry Mag, 7 Update, DJ Mag and M8 Magazine + More.
