Lumina is primarily a record label. However, today it is far more than a record label. Indeed, besides the conventional recording activity, Lumina's artistic motto is to provide a visual and sensual experience to its audience through a simultaneous performance of music, video clips, projections and exhibitions.
The adventure begins in 1997, when Taho, Lumina's founder member, decides to go for the independent route after two successful mini albums released on the famous French record label F-Communications.
His releases are invariably highly acclaimed by Belgian, French, British and American reviewers and DJs. Through his music, Taho pictures imaginary worlds, where elegant futurism, utopia and mysteries all have their share of the scenario. Indeed, his music is conceived like a visual and imaginary poetry.
