Bitlow records is a logical continuation of German label Uran97, located in Brandenburg. Since 2002 Uran97 produced about 40 releases including 3 vinyls. Uran97 produced EP’s of Akustikrausch, Pacou, MMB, K. Fog, Vadim Lankov, etc. The basic format of the label is nonprofit underground techno. Christian Barkowsky was the owner and manager of the label at that time.
Label Bitlow was created in 2009 on the basis of Uran97. It was focused not only on techno, but also on tech-house music. Mostklik co-owned Bitlow also in 2009.
Now Bitlow is a multinational label with combined administration in Brandenburg & Moscow. The format of label is quality techno and tech-house music. The main task of the label is to promote young and talented musicians to the world stage.
