Kranglan Broadcast

About

  • Kranglan is a part of the Nacka nature reserve southeast of Stockholm. Kranglan is distinguished partly by the beavers that suddenly moved in along the lakeshores and started chopping down trees and building huts and partly by the two giant broadcast masts that every night turns the reserve into a never ending light show by spreading its beams in the sky, over the forest to be seen from all over the city of Stockholm. When artist Harald Björk was to come up with a name for his record label it was not hard to choose since his greatest source of inspirations has always been and probably always will be the light from the broadcast masts by night. The music deriving from Kranglan Broadcast will be a varying range of naïve, emotional and melodic techno in the outskirt soundscapes of record labels such as Border Community, Kompakt.and Cocoon.
