Over the last year Airport Route Recordings have developed a growing reputation and put forward a number of tunes drawing attention from each release. Now supported by respected DJs they continue to push out their unique music and hope to build new ground on the clubscene.
Airport Route focuses on progressive house but also includes elements of electro, some breaks and some minimal.
Airport Route Recordings is based in Iceland on the airport route, just outside of Reykjavik, distributed via Kudos-digital to download sites across the world, Itunes, Beatport, DJ Download, and Juno to name a few.
Starting in 2007, it has since this date become recognised for being behind some of the best underground progressive house music on the scene, this growing to wider genre expressions, along the way shaping some new talent which has also gone on to be recognised.
This site was born to expand the concept of the label which has always been about community, growing and learning new musician expressions together. Here you will find information on releases, players in our radio section, artists pages of those directly involved and a live section introducing you to the nights in and around Iceland, also showcasing the biggest DJ names on the Icelandic dance circuit, even for your bookings prehaps.
