SUBSIDENCE IS THE MOTION OF THE EARTH’S SURFACE AS IT SHIFTS DOWNWARD, A SLOW AND PROGRESSIVE UNDERGROUND MOTION THAT CAUSES NEW ADJUSTMENTS.
Subsidence is a new Italian record label based in Bologna (Italy) focused on electronic music particularly on experimental, techno, noise and ambient sounds run by Fabrizio Matrone (Matter/Heidseck) in collaboration with Lino Monaco (Retina.it, theNe-21, r2π) and the visual artist and filmmaker Pier Paolo Patti.
The label would be a home for artistic and unconventional productions that sink its roots into the underground culture shared by the founders as the creative humus of the project.
