Take Off Records is a record label that focuses on mostly bass music, including drum’n’bass, breaks and more, founded in 2007 for audio work in music editing, fine tuning, mastering and to host exclusive music events in Malaysia.
Past releases have included a 2007 “EXTENDED” compilation for Malaysian drum’n’bass collective Loops Collective, and teaming up with Malaysia’s Bionic DJ Academy to host Malaysia’s first and most prestigious dance music awards “Choons Awards” since 2009, releasing Choons Awards compilation CDs in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013, as well as digital releases on trackitdown and are now back after a hiatus and ready for digital releases in drum’n’bass, breaks, dub and more.
Take Off Records releases its new EP – That Bass EP 01. That Bass EP 01 brings you five eclectic tracks surrounding the bass side of music vibes from drum’n’bass to breaks, featuring Ken DMA, Zul, Yikzz, Mac and DJ Low. Each track is unique in its own vibe and sure to satisfy the musical taste pallets of dance music lovers.
