Disjointed Reality Recordings is a new Liverpool, UK based record label owned and run completely independently. We aim to release Peak time underground Techno music on both vinyl & digital formats, with very little external distribution.
Our mantra will always be quality over quantity. As this venture is totally self funded we will not be churning out music for the sake of it.
We aim to bring something artistic/individual/interesting and different with every release both in terms of music & Sleeve art.
The goal is to do as much as we can independently in order that we can maximize revenues for artists that wish to participate in projects with Disjointed Reality Recordings, which will also include launch party's and Radio Shows.
Making sure our artists get paid well in terms of royalties is absolutely paramount to the concept of the label. We also truly believe in artistic integrity and giving the artists we choose to work with total freedom to create their art within the parameters of the label’s direction.
The most important thing to us at Disjointed Reality recordings is that we have great relationships with all artists involved, no matter if they are brand new unknown artists, or if they are already huge global Techno acts. We only want to work with decent honourable people no matter how good they are at making music. This is the number one rule. We really believe in creating a community/family vibe, where everybody has the right to an opinion and to contribute.
We intend to pick a handful of record stores locally and in future worldwide, and will distribute to these stores ourselves and will also sell our records on our own website and at our launch parties.
The releases will be made available in digital formats some time after our vinyl is available. We will sell our digital downloads on our own website and through most of the popular online outlets that are underground and Artist/label friendly
