Established in 2010 by Dublin based DJ/Producer Jogador, Mint Crush was heavily influenced by the West Coast sound that other labels such as Salted and Lazy Days were putting out around that time, while also incorporating early influences of producers such as Mood ii Swing, Kerry Chandler, Ian Pooley, MAW, JohNick, Jazz & Groove etc..
The idea was never to flood the market with releases, rather take time to make sure each release fitted in with the unique sound of the label, a blend of deep, soulful house and disco. Although the core sound is still evident, the label is always excited by new producers and finding fresh new sounds.
Since its launch, the label has picked up support from some of the most respected names in the business, including Dimitri from Paris, Miguel Migs, Fish Go Deep, Mood ii Swing, Ian Pooley, Shur-i-Kan, Grant Nelson, Homero Espinosa, Nachtbraker, Thatmanmonkz, Mr.V, Sebastien Vorhaus (Soul Of Hex), Nacho Marco and many more.
