KAR is hailing from the electronically prolific Rhein-Main Area with a distinctly fresh sound. Bringing raw and dark energy from its machinery rooms.
KAR mastermind Kai Anschau has been deejaying round local clubs for a good decade. He also released quite a few housy tracks for US House-legend George Morel’s „Groove On“ imprint. But it was his latest smash „Naked“, featuring the dark princess of KAR, Mallory N., that made a most heavy impact. Noone else but Monika Kruse charted the track, while Maceo Plex showed love in rinsing „Naked“ to the fullest.
For Anschau, the electro-fused dark beats and atmospheres led the way to refine his personal sytle. A little lefftield of the soft-pack, he now embarks on his own label journey, catering for the first two releases.
Together with the promising and haunting vocals of Mallory plus seering synth sounds in a gloomy, charged atmosphere he will set clubs on fire. Getting them waiting for (smashers like) „The Perfect Sin“.
Well.. Music is never a crime but doesn’t it feel good to play something so heavy you might guess it’s forbidden? KAR says yes, dishing out pure lust for dark electronic styles between Electro, Techno and – maybe – House. The future is brightly dark!
