Sacred Tapes was formed with the intention of producing a large output of short run releases built with the ever increasing number of collaborations, side projects, live recordings and spin offs of the bands and musicians that make up Manchester's noise scene.
Sacred Tapes will map and document the shifting personalities and numerous cross-overs that envelope these musicians' expanding output and shifting focuses whilst introducing a select choice of work from further afield. As well as taking in a tight mix of noise related genres, expect to see various sound art and field recordings showcased on the label.
