Through his work at The Wire, Pitchfork and, yes, Resident Advisor, he's done as much as anyone to champion (and critique) what is going on in house, techno and beyond since he first put pen to paper in the late '90s. In the process, he's written countless reviews and profiles, coined the term "microhouse" and conducted interviews with the likes of Moritz Von Oswald and Ricardo Villalobos.
