  • Fin Greenall has truly made the rounds of the music industry—he's worked for major labels, produced trip-hop records, collaborated with the likes of Amy Winehouse and John Legend, founded Aus Music with Will Saul, DJed across the world and, as a solo artist, released half a dozen albums as Fink. One constant through it his decades-long career has been Ninja Tune, the label he's been signed since his 1997 single "Fink Funk." As Greenall has moved from electronic through to more organic, singer-songwriter textures, they've kept up their partnership, and he's become one of the iconic label's signature artists. And when his latest album, 2014's Hard Believer, strayed a bit outside Ninja Tune's remit, they gave him his own sublabel called R'COUP'D so he could stay in the fold. With a new collection of dubs based on that album, Horizontalism, hot off the presses, Greenall came by our London office for a chat with Carlos Hawthorn. Photo credit: Tommy N. Lance
