Beats In Spaceのミックスシリーズ第2弾を、Josey Rebelleが手がけた。
ミックスにはDJ Marcelle、rRoxymore, Loraine James、Afrodeutsche、Titonton Duvante、Hieroglyphic Beingといったアーティストによるトラック計20曲が収録され、その多くが初のデジタル化となる。
12インチ盤には本ミックスにおける4つのキートラックである、Fotomachineによる“BBoy”、Shy Oneによる“Route II Romeos”、Access 58による“Jazz Drama”、そしてRogue Unitによる“Dance Of The Sarooes (Nookie Remix)”を収録。今作はミックスバージョンとノンミックスバージョンで、CDとデジタルでのリリースされる。
尚、2019年に始動した同シリーズの第1弾はPowderが手がけ、RAではレコメンド盤として紹介した。
Josey Rebelleは昨年、BBC Radio 1のEssential Mix of the Year賞を獲得している。
