Peverelist, Kowton, Karen Gwyer, Hodge, Semtek, Amii Little
Don't Be Afraid and Livity Sound join forces for a one-off visit to Oxford's Cellar Bar. Pev and Kowton headline, the pair who put Bristol on the techno map via the Livity Sound label and via their respective releases on labels like Hessle Audio, Honest Jon's and Whities. Expect bass-heavy dubplates and broken techno experiments from the pair and from Hodge, the artist whose unmatched output of dancefloor nails has earned him critical acclaim.
Meanwhile in the Don't Be Afraid corner Karen Gwyer, the London-based producer who has re-introduced experimental music to techno in her native midwest tongue, plays live alongside label-boss Semtek, and DBA resident Amii Little.
