Monika Kruse's talent and dedication has made her one of the world's most highly-respected DJs and producers. The ‘Grand dame of Techno’, has been an integral part of the German electronic music scene for almost a quarter of a century, ever since she ran her own illegal parties as a youth.
As a producer, performer and a label boss of Terminal M, Monika has helped electronic music evolve in many unpredictable ways and has long been one of the scene’s most exciting artists. Her deep, hypnotic beats, driving percussion and touch of funkiness has found favour with press and punter alike and have won her vast amount of followers on Facebook alone.
In 2000, Monica founded "No Historical Backspin", the charity has over the years raised more than 100,000 Euros to help people who suffer from racism, homophobia, anti-emitism and anti-immigrant attacks.
