James Trystan(Great Stuff/Defected/Bedrock)
The 4 time Beatport top 10 artist is now poised and ready to take on the house underground with venom and guile. Already a key member of the Great Stuff stable, 2015 has also seen James commit his talents to Seamless Recordings via a killer collaboration with Barber and more recently the behemoth that is Bedrock, with 'Waking Giants’ - a trippy slice of atmospheric house genius, penned alongside studio partner Rory Gallagher, and a weapon that Digweed himself has been wielding to spin-out peak time floors for months. James' impressive remix discography continues to pick up pace too with a package-stealing rework of Swedish left-field pop artist, Karin Park, proving once more alongside remixes for Warner Bros (Fenech-Soler), Columbia (The Klaxons) and Nettwerk (Ghost Beach); that his ability to weave unique vocals into sheer club weaponry is second to none. Due out towards the end of the year, the mood-laden houser has already pricking up the ears of Him_Self_Her, Henry Saiz, Steve Lawler and Kris Davis and with a new European tour in the pipeline and interest from a slew of tastemaker labels for original material, this year is going to be an absolute winner for Trystan!
