The year 2013 has been an historic year in the city of Stoke-on-Trent! It's a city full of history & memories & now thanks to all of you who attended our parties in 2013 at both The Exchange & The Sugarmill, House Music is officially back on the map on Stoke-on-Trent!
2014 begins right where we left. For our first Sugarmill party of the year, we welcome one of house musics fast rising stars. After numerous releases on Defected, Toolroom & his own imprint Noir Records, NOIR is an artist heavily influenced the rave cultures of Detroit.
Chicago legends Derrick May & Kevin Saunderson were early influences for the Danish producer, and in 2005 NOIR got his first big break when "All About the House Music" on Wyze Recordinga got him his first international break!
In 2010, track "Africanism" reached the top of Beatport Deep House charts, staying in the Top 10 for over three months. From then on NOIR has not looked back! In 2011, his collaboration "Around" with singer/songwriter Haze became one of the years top tunes, dominating the Ibiza summer & being played by almost every DJ at the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). The release was remixed by Subb-An & Solomun taking it to new heights, resulting in a re-release on house music giant Defected in 2012!

Joining NOIR at the Mill is DJ Le Roi. Le Roi is one of Switzerlands finest exports. Ever since his first release in 2007 "I get Deep", Le Roi has been touring the world receiving support from the likes of Luciano, Joris Voorn and NOIR himself releasing music on internationally known imprints like Get Physical. Expect a deep, soulful techno set from one of the worlds most in demand talents!
