MESH excited to venture into the daytime with our next event, Day Rave. We think we got some perfect fits to match the daytime vibe too. DJ Having Sex quickly caught our attention after their explosive mix for our friends over at Daisychain. Expect all sort of sunny house and classic rave sounds. Also joining in on the fun will be local prodigy Davis Galvin. After several incredible recent releases and an transformative set at Honcho camp this year, we are excited for whatever left-field bangers they pull out for this party! Can't wait to see y'all on the dancefloor soon!
DJ Having Sex (Seattle)
Dani Loose, better known as DJ Having Sex has developed a strong reputation as one of Seattle’s most beloved and forward thinking selectors. In their early days of djing Loose performed under several different aliases in Olympia’s thriving feminist/queer punk scene and regularly drove up to Seattle whenever possible to “really party”. Since moving, Seattle’s nightlife scene provided an inspiring and competitive environment where they began to dig for records more seriously and throw parties to bridge the gap between the techno and queer nightlife community. DJ Having Sex’s approach to the craft is unpretentious, cheeky, and wholeheartly concerned with having a lot of fun. Expect breaks and hoovers, wear protection.
Davis Galvin (Vanity Press, Firm Tracks)
Local favorite and extremely talented producer, Davis Galvin continues to wow us with each release and set. With two recent releases on Vanity Press on Firm Tracks, Davis has established themself as on of the midwest's best current producers. Their off kilter sounds carries over to their DJ sets as well. After completely flooring us with a next level set at this years Honcho camp, we are very excited to see what heat they have packed for this event.
