** All shows at CCCB will be premiered in a multi-dimensional sound environment specially designed by Intorno Labs.
On September 28, Lapsus returns with ACT 2, where -as always- its activities will be divided between the Barcelona Centre for Contemporary Culture (CCCB) and the nocturnal venue LAUT. It is worth highlighting the collaboration with Intorno Labs, a studio specializing in developing multidimensional sound tools and latest generation immersive technologies.
This year’s second event, entitled ‘The Echo Chamber’, proudly presents the solo performance of German Moritz von Oswald, the renowned master of experimentation and one of the most important and influential figures in the history of modern electronic music will present a brand new show called 'Akklamation'; and the local hero Pina, that will present his new work entitled ‘Buit’, due for release in 2020.
Both performances will be presented exclusively at the CCCB Theatre using a three-dimensional sound system designed by Intorno Labs; the technological platform that will create an unprecedented psychoacoustic experience in Barcelona that will allow attendees to experience shows in a more profound and immersive fashion.
Following The Bass Valley collaboration in ACT 1, the academic centre returns to participate in ACT 2 with "Playing With Space", an interactive game based on a multi-dimensional audio system designed by Intorno Labs, where onlookers can interact with sound objects and arrange them in a designated space to their heart’s desire. The installation will showcase the myriad of possibilities that an immersive audio system provides and will help educate the audience about its operation.
Oscillate Tracks, one of Berlin’s most enjoyable electronic music revelations, will takeover the night venue –LAUT club– featuring DJ sets from two of its principal artists, Johanna Knutsson and Karima F. The record label began as a natural progression from the ‘Oscillate’ events taking place over the last 5 years at the ://about blank nightclub, located in the heart of Friedrichshain, one of Berlin’s essential underground nightlife spots.
