(?)Why does RA charge a booking fee?x
Our booking fee covers the costs of providing our ticketing service.
We incur charges every time we take a card payment. We have labour and office costs for our developers, who build and maintain RA's website and our event discovery App, the RA Guide. We provide round-the-clock customer and promoter support and infrastructure to ensure you can buy tickets securely and speedily in over 50 countries. We cover all of these costs with one small per-ticket fee.
It goes deeper than that, too. RA is an independent company dedicated to supporting the electronic music community. By buying your tickets through RA, you become a part of that mission.
Hannah Diamond DJ (PC Music)
Stolen Velour (Treehouse)
DJ Froglord and the Insane Frog Posse (After School Club)
The School Year is nearly over. It’s nearly time to throw down our pens, burn our schoolbooks and run out of the schoolyard gates, eager to waste our summers playing GTA. But before we do that, there’s time for one more party, a final knees-up so we can all join together in unison and shout SCHOOL’S OUT 4 EVER!!!
If you thought our previous nights were LIT (you’re right, they were) then just wait until you see what we have in store for you for Vol. 3. We have four A.S.C. veterans returning plus PC Music ROYALTY Ms. Hannah Diamond makes her Leeds debut to play us a VERY rare (and we really mean this – like rarer than a shiny Charizard) DJ set.
If it’s your first time joining us at After School Club, you can expect all kinds of club-ready music ranging from bubble-gum bass, alternative pop, nightcore, donk, hardstyle, hands up, weird electronica, wonky beats, happy hardcore, deconstructed club, reconstructed club, crumbled up club biscuits, club penguin, the crazy frog, the crazy frog remix and many other brain-curdling genres.
We’re also going IN on the theme this time (all which shall be revealed in the coming weeks) and we’ve been super busy creating some really sick content and visuals. Keep an eye on our social media platforms as we’ll be revealing some extra-special things to celebrate this momentous occasion - and get ready to dress to impress on the night itself!
For the very first time we’re going to be doing this at the Old Red Bus Station and I’m pleased to say we have ORBS’s security team on hand (who I’ve worked with many times and have every faith in) so if there’s any trouble just grab one of those guys. Obviously, this is a very inclusive event and everyone is welcome. That been said, we won’t tolerate any kind of bigotry, harassment or violence. Basically, just don’t be a dickhead or we’ll boot you out. But I’m sure you’ll all be lovely <3
Don’t forget to buy a ticket from the link below and check out some more info about the wonderful artists. See you all on the dancefloor!
Xoxox Dj Froglord
Hannah Diamond: the first lady of PC Music, and underground icon and pastel princess. As a pop star, she captured hearts and minds with her throwback tunes which are drenched in noughties nostalgia. However, 2019 has seen Ms. Diamond rise to prominence as a DJ and she’s been hand selected by the likes of SOPHIE and Tommy Cash to play along side them. Her DJ set for After School Club promises to give her fans everything they love about HD – the same sense of glossy nostalgia but turned up a notch, harder and more danceable.
MATTU: A versatile producer who can turn his hand to glossy pop music, new-age hip hop or warpy electro, Mattu has the ability to flip the script: subtle and sweet one minute, energetic and jarring the next. As well as producing his own music Mattu often works as a producer for a myriad of artists across different genres and is rapidly making a name for himself as one of the hottest new producers on the Manchester scene. Expect some sick pop edits, oddball beats and cutting-edge hip-hop.
Stolen Velour: Little is known about this mysterious mogul. He’s the head honcho of Treehouse records and has made a name for his brand by curating some of the finest club-nights Leeds has seen in recent years. Some say he’s an ancient deity reincarnate. Some say he’s a sorcerer, trained in the dark arts. Others say he’s a lost member of the Jonas brothers. But one thing everyone agrees on is that his DJ sets fucking SLAP. Expect big beats, warpy techno and weird pop edits.
Santino: A renaissance man, if ever there was one, Santino appreciates the finer things in life: Arizona Iced Tea, a well-tailored pastel suit, anime boobies. When he’s not doing his day-job, composing soundtracks for the hottest new video-games, he’s busy making banging pop tunes or putting together a slick dj set which is usually comprised of future funk, J-pop and schizophrenic bubble-gum bass.
DJ Froglord (AKA DJ Vegan Sausage Roll) and The Insane Frog Posse: Ring ding ding ding ding ding, ring ding ding ding bem bem bem, ring ding ding ding ding ding, ring ding ding ding baa baa.
