D-jack (D-Jacking zone)
D-Jack is one of the pioneer of the Belgium Techno scene. Already DJ in 1986 in a funky Hip-Hop style, he turned to electronics around 1987. He created the B.W.P. Experiments in 1989 with some DJs friends in Brussels. They all made the legendary PK Studio parties in that giant warehouse near V.U.B. (a university in the South of Brussels) from 1992 to 1994. Some say that these years were the best they ever lived. At that time he worked generally with/in Sebastian S. studio. He created one label called R & D (Research & Development) in 1990. Label with tracks from Mike D.M.A., Acid Kirk, Sebastian S., Deg, Popane, Pat Vision. He also made some projects for Surreal Sound Records, Joost De Lijser’s label (1992). He launched the Strictly Underground parties in Belgium inviting guests such as Kirk Dergiorgo (A.R.T.), René (Basic Channel) & Electric Indigo (Hardwax). Later he started the D-Jacking Zone parties with D-Knox, Kikoman, Fanon Flowers & Jay Denham aka Vice. Now, D-Jack is still considered as very underground. He refused to be exploited in any way.
Behind this name sharpened for sweaty and caustic nights, DJ Pute-Acier has prostituted his talents since 30 years, having a string of knee-breaking experiences and genetically modified musical handlings. When he is behind the booth, he is a smiling, feet-stomping 17 year-old boy again, in phase with God although others could have the impression to cross the auditive Hell’s antichamber.
Come out from the basement with explicit beats, to go back underground with a lot of people.
DJ Popane (aka Anycut)
Active since the early 90’s as a DJ, making no concessions in her music choices. Playing strictly vinyl sets with alternative rhythms such as Detroit Electro/Techno, Chicago House, old school & nu school Hip-Hop.
Popane was part of BWP (Bad Woofers Posse) and Strictly Underground Party Crews in Belgium, and also founding member of Addictive / Ambient (with Fhex), D-Jacking Zone / Techno (with D-Jack), Pussies Traxes / Hip-hop / Electro / Jungle / Drum’n Bass (with Miss Elorak & Kay), Street Drama / Hip-Hop formation (with Reklaz).
Brussels-based, L-Reak is an active member of the Belgian scene.
From Acid to Techno, Electro to Ambient and Experimental Music mixed with a specific cutting technique, he spins records like a concentrated demon. His passion to the TB-303 Acid sound and wax stayed unchanged over the years and this is reflected in an impressive records collection. Since 1996, L-Reak has been performing alongside artists such as Mike Dred, Acid Junkies, Brixton, Rude 66, Cosmic Force, Elec Pt1, Ceephax Acid Crew, Chris Moss Acid, MANASYt, Dez Williams, DVS1, Norman Nodge…
He can't remember since when he likes electronic music because his father is a DJ. Lucien started to spin with records at the age of 19, always trying to be out of the mass of the others DJs, melting old school stuff with new school acid stuff. He’s always searching to enlarge his collection of vynils with rare or unknown records. As well as he likes playing oldschool classic his style is ACID and that's it!
