Lossless 5 year Showcase presented by Melodic Diggers
Having stolen our hearts with our last event, it only seemed right that London becomes host once again for our next party on June 1st, where we are teaming up with Lossless for a special five year anniversary showcase at one of London’s most established clubs, Corsica Studios, for an intimate party with a superb sound system to match.
Whilst it may be young, Lossless has released a wealth of superb EPs from some of the most talented and boundary-pushing artists around, including Yokto, Trikk, The Drifter and the label’s owners, Mathias Schober and Thomas Herb. Releases have been supported wide and far, filling each dancefloor with sheer joy and passion.
Taking the lead for our event is one half of the label, Mathias Schober. The creator of an esteemed record catalog, Schober is a man with more aliases than you can count on one hand, producing and DJing as himself, with label partner Matthew Herb as SBTH, and also as Internacional Electrical Rhythms with Trikk and as SHOW-B to name a few. He is also behind one of the biggest remixes of last year, BOg’s Jahar and his sets are filled with just as much energy as the release itself.
Love over Entropy is no stranger to producing electronic music, with over 20 years’ experience in the field. The Dutch national blends fragments of 90s dance music with mesmerizing melodies for a show-stopping, timeless and memorizing experience from start to finish, with his Inbetween EP and Marka EP showcasing the unique and diverse sound he produces.
Completing the room one line-up for our event is Irish producer, DJ and singer Mark Flynn, also known as The Drifter. Melodic and captivating, Flynn doesn’t abide by the rules - techno, house and disco are all prominent in his sets. Alongside releases on Permanent Vacation and co-running Maeve with Mano Le Tough and Baikal, he has also released two EPs on Lossless, ‘Louise’ and ‘J.E.N.’.
Joining this event in room 2 is some of the best local talent London has to offer. Dario Dea is no stranger to sophisticated crowd control, as shown in his sets for his night Fragments, Paraffe and our previous Melodic Digger parties. He is billed with his Fragments co-owner, Victor C, who will play B2B with Rick Offen and Just Lauren, founder of Melodic Diggers.
