Nicola Cruz (Live UK debut)
SPECIAL LATE SHOW, UNTIL 2AM
Hall - Standing
After his knock-out show at Village Underground last year, it only felt right to get Nicola Cruz back again, and this is what we’re doing - only this time it’s going to be at EartH.
In this live UK debut, the intricate producer will be exploring his parts of his latest album Siku where he’ll be combining native tribal grooves with deep sophisticated percussion and rhythms, creating his unique blend of electronic music.
Joining him on support is Dreems and Baiuca.
Dreems’ hypnotic reveries strain and pulse against the restrictive metathongs of contemporary lifestyle living to offer a pan-global soulstyle for our times. Dreems’ impression of psychedelia is expressive; his sets are a testament to his knowledge of distant worlds and musics, taking you on a trip beyond all borders. "I am on a mission, a quest to free you from the divisive shackles of flags and tongues," says Dreems. He’ll suck you in and spit you out with your reality tunnel open a little wider than it was before.
Not a year has passed since the release of Solpor, his debut album, which has become a benchmark of Iberian folk music, mixing traditional rhythms of Galician folklore with avant-garde electronics, sneaking into some of the best release lists of the year. After an extensive tour in 2018, 2019 has seen the release of a new album, Misturas; several remix projects; and a tour of some of the best festivals and clubs in Europe.
Last entry: 11 pm.
