We're teaming up with one of Singapore's most prominent electronic imprints, Darker Than Wax, to bring you a series of parties that will follow the groove across various sub-genres that will bridge the boogie and four-on-the-floor to consistently deliver the forward-thinking funk.
Montreal-based, Vancouver native Patrick Holland AKA Project Pablo rolls up with his blend of funk-soaked, breezy house to kick off the first edition of The Council x DTW of the year.
A long-standing favourite in the house music scene, Project Pablo's evolution as an artist is nothing short of impressive. His musical journey started off with a more bassy, post-dubstep touch, before he became fascinated with house and disco, and in 2015, Project Pablo released his debut album "I Want To Believe" on Vancouver’s 1080p.
The Canadian producer has since built an impressive discography in recent years with a consistent stream of quality releases via labels such as Clone’s Royal Oak imprint, Spring Theory, and Lone’s Magicwire.
With such a unique disposition, and such a diverse musical background, the ridiculously prolific Project Pablo has honed his skill in effortlessly glazing through genres; he can quickly move from a groove-focused affair, to a bright & breezy bounce, before dipping into a relaxed funk.
Get lost in the walking basslines and loose-swung house and disco beats strung with an array of breezy chords and tastefully bright melodies as Project Pablo delivers the goods at TUFF CLUB for the night.
