Malin Bray, Lethal Trip, Haruka
So stoked to have both Malin & Haruka join us for this one ♥
Brooklyn producer and DJ, Malin Bray has endured a presence on the rock scene for over 10 years. For the past two years she has been exploring and experimenting with electronic driven music, incorporating her roots, to craft a sound that is simultaneously tough, yet sensitive, raw, yet enticingly deep. Specializing in high energy, intricate, groove driven house, she has a firm understanding of what it takes to move a dance floor. She is set to release her first solo EP mid 2018.
New York City-based, Lethal Trip, grew up in a household with a strong background in music and art. She fell in love with dance music (house and techno in particular) at an early age. After going to school for fashion designing, she decided to pursue her love for music. She quickly made her way into the nightlife scene, and has played for places like Le Baron, Cameo Gallery, Happy Ending, as well as warehouses and fashion week events. In December of 2015, she opened for Frankie Bones in Massachusetts, an experience she was grateful for. In 2017, she started her own femme techno collective called Techno Bangs, that aims to showcase female talent in a male-dominated industry.
Born in Tokyo Japan, Haruka plays internationally for crowds at the upper echelons of style; New York, Berlin and London Fashion week, and for music lovers in Brooklyn, at the most coveted underground venues.
Her intimate relationship with music started at the age of 2, expressing herself through the strings of the violin and keyboards
of the piano. While touring internationally with her local classical orchestra she cultivated her ears and developed a deep understanding of the emotional impact of music; an experience which would in influence her style and music selections across areas of Deep House, Techno, Tech-house, Bass and Future-Bass. Since playing her first record at the age of 15, HARUKA has opened for Justin Jay, Tchami, Jon Hopkins, Vergil Abloh and Miguel; all prominent genres in the international electronic music scene, as well as Tony Touch and Stretch Armstrong; both legends in the global hip hop arena. A former resident DJ at the infamous Le Baron, HARUKA continues to play for a range of diverse venues such as Output - Panther Room (New York), Le Baron (Paris), Village Underground (London), Dolston Superstore (London), Soho House (New York), Output (Brooklyn), House of Yes (Brooklyn),Bossa Nova Civic Club (Brooklyn) and if your lucky to be in the-know you will find her playing at one of NYC’s secret after-hour’s or warehouse parties.
