Emerging from the heart of Brooklyn comes two Californian grown artists, Signal Flow -- the live production/DJ duo that is Michael Tello, of PillowTalk, and Ray Zuniga, one of Brooklyn’s finest. Together they created the Touch of Class Records imprint, a label that has gained worldwide musical respect from its inception in Berlin, spread across Europe, and reaching far as Southeast Asia, by bringing fresh sounds in the musical circuit.
The two share an eclectic taste, pulling from classic, to modern, indie, and electronic, musical influences composing their own unique sound and energy. An infectious house style, clad with sophistication that represents a brilliant and mature funk. Featuring collaborations with the likes of: Navid Izadi, Aquarius Heaven, Kevin Knapp, Gustaph of Hercules & The Love Affair, PillowTalk, Jonny Cruz and Tone Of Arc.
With original productions out on Leftroom, Endless, My Favorite Robot, and Touch Of Class to name a few, the duo’s latest release is a remix of PillowTalk’s “LA 2 The Bay” on Wolf + Lamb. Followed by two highly anticipated original releases. Los Angeles based Culprit welcomes the guys to the crew with the ‘City Livin' EP which features two original songs with vocals from Kevin Knapp, Gustaph of Hercules & The Love Affair, and Michael Tello. It also includes a proper package of remixes by legendary DJ T, Signal Flow and new live project Ominous coming out mid-June.
For their following release the guys drop another bomb on Matt Tolfrey's Leftroom, again featuring the sultry vocals of Kevin Knapp with a peak summertime remix by Miguel Campbell and a cinematic techno laced version by Locked Groove scheduled for July release.
The future is bright for this tenacious duo as they’re hard at work on a debut album along with some quality dance floor material for 2015. We look forward to hearing what these two will drop next onto our audible souls, and their ever-growing imprint, Touch of Class.
