With the crux of his sound built from the ground up through a DIY work ethic, James Organ is a name coming from a burgeoning Liverpool club scene and turning plenty of heads in the process. His dark, up-front style blends all things house and tech-house through the perfect alignment of crisp hi-hats and rolling basslines. Taking the underground house scene by storm in his hometown, he is quickly becoming “one to watch” and with good reason.
Pushing a vibe that is synonymous with electric club and festival sets, both James Organ’s mixing and on-stage presence over-flow with energy from start to finish. Playing to crammed festival tents with 6,000+ ravers is now the norm for the Liverpudlian, who has graced the likes of We Are FSTVL, The Warehouse Project, Leeds and Readings BBC Radio 1 Dance Stages, Wildlife, Parklife, Steelyard at Creamfields and more, with the list continuing to grow.
Behind these eclectic live sets is a unique blend of house, tech house and techno. James fuses influences both old and new, and recreates them with his own forward-thinking and innovative vision. Grabbing attention from labels such as Saved Records, W&O Street Tracks, Decay Records, Roush and more, James has enjoyed a flurry of peer-approved releases, with his most recent release ‘Gospel909’ receiving widespread support from heavyweight names.
Now consistently sharing stages with Hot Since 82, Maya Jane Coles, Claptone, Cristoph, Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Loco Dice and Nastia to name a few, James Organ is quickly earning his place in a scene which looks set to move in a direction of his choosing.
