  • What does it take to build an empire? In Tiga's case, it's a combination of hard work, a sharp wit and a cunning entrepreneurial streak. In a 20-year career he's worn many hats, including DJ, promoter, A&R man, record shop owner and nightclub boss. In that time he's stayed true to his core musical beliefs, and displayed an ability to move with the times that means he's still top of his game 12 years on from the release of breakthrough single, "Sunglasses At Night." In this RA Exchange, the Turbo Recordings chief spoke about his dandified pop persona and plans for a new album, as we traced a line from the solstice rave in Montreal in 1992 through to the current day, touching on Seal, the Swedish House Mafia and Barcelona FC in between.
